Skill Development and WomenEmpowerment

“Empowering Youth,Women, and Building Skills, Creating Opportunities.”

Young people are the driving force behind social and economic transformation. At NAMM, we are committed to equipping youth with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive in an increasingly competitive and dynamic world.

Our Skill Development Programme focuses on enhancing employability, fostering entrepreneurship, and preparing women and young people—particularly those from socially and economically marginalized communities—for meaningful careers and sustainable livelihoods. Through a combination of technical training, career guidance, and life skills development, we empower youth to unlock their potential and become agents of positive change.

Our Key Interventions
  • Employability and Soft Skills Development Strengthening essential workplace competencies through training in spoken English, communication skills, personality development, group discussions, leadership, teamwork, professional etiquette, and interview preparation.

  • Career Readiness and Competitive Examination Support Providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to aspiring candidates preparing for competitive examinations in banking, railways, public services, and other government and private sector opportunities.

  • Technical and Vocational Skill Training Facilitating industry-relevant technical and vocational training programmes that enhance employability and support access to sustainable livelihood opportunities.

  • Career Counselling and Mentorship Supporting youth in identifying career pathways, setting professional goals, and making informed decisions through counselling, mentoring, and exposure opportunities.

  • Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment Promotion Encouraging entrepreneurial thinking and supporting young people in exploring self-employment and enterprise development opportunities.

  • Digital and Future-Ready Skills Promoting digital literacy and emerging skills that enable youth to adapt to changing labour market demands and technological advancements.

We envision a future where every young person, regardless of their socio-economic background, has access to quality skill development opportunities, dignified employment, and the confidence to shape their own future.
